It's alright, there's nothing mych to see, unless you're into Game of Thrones. I'm not, so I'm not as appreciative of the site. I enjoyed reading about the history of the site though.During our visit 2 coach loads of tourists arrived on a Game of Thrones tour, which is fair enough. Later on, we had to jostle for position on another part of the site with said tourists and their guide, who seemed to be taking over. We moved on

The whole experience start to finish was excellent. The Host Will was super friendly there wasn't a thing he didn't know The costumes were brilliant fun made the pictures so much better. The Archery was a great laugh and Will was a great teacher he made it look easy. I blame the wind and the sun in my eyes. I would definitely recommend it to everyone great value for money. With fantastic views and beautiful walking trails.

Excellent place with scenic background. The chicken served there was top notch. Loved their Brew too. Cheerful and humorous hosts with engaging activities. Loads of fun activities, some interesting anecdotes on the game of thrones. Overall it was worth the drive from Dublin for us

Great day out at Castle Ward and with Winterfell Tours. Had a Ned Stark package booked and was loads of fun, not least thanks to our Master at Arm's Michael looking after us, very knowledgeable and entertaining for the kids. Archery was great, he gave good instructions especially when giving the kids a go, very patient didn't rush and got them to hit the target. The authentic Stark Family costumes was the icing on the cake to really make the experience stand out

A very large estate, part of the National Trust. Beautiful grounds with places to walk. A major draw is the fact that its grounds have been used for extensive filming of Game of Thrones, right from the pilot and up to recently. Nice locations are easily accessible, and were told there's nearly a dozen more in more it if the way places. The most significant filming location was the Winterfell courtyard where King Robert makes his entry, tiny at the heart of Castle Ward. Terrific, knowledgeable staff. A recent addition is the store in the old slaughterhouse, filled with GoT memorabilia to compliment the gift shop near the visitor's center. Well worth the visit, especially during the annual Winterfell Festival.
