Excellent stay & would highly recommend it, the staff where extremely friendly, welcoming & couldn't do enough for us (very interesting stories & history from the night porter Colman-what a character). Overall great value for money & brilliant January deal- glass of prosecco on arrival, bed & breakfast plus evening meal. Room was clean & tidy, food was surprisingly tasty & nice fry up for breakfast, we hope to go back again soon.

Always a great place for a meal or a drink. Great for meat and fish dishes. There is a good range of sweet courses also.
It HAS A GOT DOOR! Which is very very cool but the place itself is nice as well. The bar is very cosy as is the restaurant. We were invited to move into the restaurant to enjoy the fire even though we were just having a drink. The people who run it are very friendly and welcoming. I have heard good things about their Sunday roasts.
Loved visiting here :) The owner personally showed us around, he has a great collection of GOT memorabilia and the first door that was carved from the trees that fell at the dark hedges. Such a fun welcoming environment. I highly recommend visiting for anyone that is a huge GOT fan. Food was great and they also have a good beer and Mead selection.
