Amazing food, very friendly and helpful staff - Nearest town is around 2 miles away, local bar across the road, big lake with good views. Rooms a little dated, walls might not as well be there as you can hear whatever is going on above or beside you. Nice breakfast cooked to order. I would go back.

Was here for a wedding, food was really good, lovely atmosphere and nice staff. Our room was very run down, bed seemed to be on a slant and walls are very thin. But I guess it is an old mill!! Breakfast was good too. Would have give this place a 5 star if the room was a bit more modern.

Absolutely outstanding scenary and grounds. On a sunny day few venues would be able to bost as good an event and back drop for photo opportunities. The court yard is magnificent with hay bales to sit on and relax or the beautiful garden grounds to walk. It really has kept its authentic feel and is like a time capsule form an age gone buy. You can feel the energy from years before. Went for a wedding but reception room Was an L shake and was hard for some guest to see top table. For the night event it had two rooms for guest and a balcony with great view and smoking is allowed so you don't have to travel down stairs. I'd recommend going to Court yard for that as it's so Peaceful and serene. Great for a wedding venue and alcohol was priced very cheap. Ordered a round and couldn't believe I got change. Staff are extremely helpful and polite. If you are looking for a wedding venue you will fall in love with this place instantly.

The staff were all so friendly and proactive. Apart from the event spaces (which were beautiful), the rooms were large and spacious. They were very kind to visitors from the other side of the globe. And the resident cat Windy is the cutest!

On our recent trip to Ireland and of all the places that we stayed, this was our very favorite b & b. The owners were delightful and very attentive. The rooms (we had two) were absolutely beautiful--very rustic and simple--but incredible. The building dates back to the 1700s and was falling down. After watching it deteriorate for many years, the owner managed to buy it and then spent 12 years lovingly restoring it. He did all of the work himself. The buildings will take your breath away. Clearly, a labor of love. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!
